Our Community Theme

Our first "theme" this year is all about building a successful classroom community.  We talked about what a community was and then brainstormed words that we felt would be important for our community.  Trios of students chose two of those words to paint on the ceiling tiles of our room.  (Don't worry, no Michaelangelo scaffolding) Here are a few pictures of what your kids are working on:
